About the new website

After 4 months the new yourarthere.net website and member-run content management system is now live. Thanks to Braylin and Brittany Morales, Beth Lee, and Chris Cumbie for all their hard work.
The site is valid XHTML/CSS and runs on PHP/MySQL using the Codeigniter framework. All the details from our research from inception onward are archived here.
This site is based around the idea that members should have control of the content on the website. Every member has a profile where they can add images, text, tags, and events to promote their artwork or group. Members can create a new profile for every domain they host with yourarthere.net, you just need a new email address.
In addition, the website automates a lot of the process to run the co-op. All account information is stored in the system, so you just need one password now. You can even connect to your domain via FTP.
To start creating your profile on the new site:
- Go to: yourarthere.net/apply
- Click on: Apply
- Submit an application to create an account
- Next you will receive a username/password to login to the website
- Add a statement, images, and tags to your profile
- Relax and enjoy attention the site brings to your art practice or organization!
