Possible FTP issues in Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver users who do not include a default login directory in their Site preferences have experienced synchronization errors and are unable to connect to their website with built-in FTP. Adding a default directory such as "httpdocs" which is the public directory in the server remedies this problem.
