Katie Herzog received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design, a Master of Fine Arts at UC San Diego, and attended library school at San Jose State University. Recent residencies include the Banff Centre, Skowhegan, and Program Initiative for Art and Architecture Collaborations in Berlin. She is a Fellow of the Molesworth Institute and an Assistant Librarian at the Whittier Public Library and the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Recent solo exhibitions include Ecstasy of Municipality at Whittier City Hall in 2010, Art As Experience at the Whittier Public Library in 2009, and Librariana at Circus Gallery in 2008.
