The yourarthere.net artist web hosting co-operative is open to any visual, musical, or performing artist, as well as galleries, museums, collaboratives and organizations. It is intended to empower artists by offering a affordable web hosting for artists.
Configured to fit artists' needs, all hosting plans are complete, user-friendly, and hosted on Linux servers with the latest open source software and standards-based internet services. There are many ways to create a website, including uploading your own site via FTP, or using a website creation tool like Wordpress or Indexhibit
In addition to the very low costs and varying methods for creating websites, artists can create a profile on the yourarthere.net website to feature their artwork. The website features one member from the community each month on the front page of the yourarthere.net website and through an email to the community with an image and link to the member's profile page. Everyone who signs-up will be eligible.
Yourarthere.net was created in 2004 by Owen Mundy in association with Your Art Here, a nonprofit arts organization that uses billboards and other public places as venues for art.
